Hydrocarbon absorbent rolls are available in a variety of styles and sizes, making them ideal for cleaning up day to day oil spills or to wipe down equipment after use.
Oil and fuel absorbents are colour-coded white for quick identification. They are hydrophobic, meaning they repel water and this makes them suitable for hydrocarbon spills in wet environments such as lakes, rivers, sumps, ponds, drains, or in wet weather.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. Oil and fuel absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Rolls can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
