Chemical Absorbent Pillows

Use chemical / hazchem absorbent pillows to contain spills, drips and leaks of most acids, bases, coolants, paints, solvents, oils and hazardous chemicals.

Use absorbent pillows to create a barrier or plug a leak - they are suitable for spill clean ups in workshops, schools, factories, warehouses - any areas where chemicals may be spilled.

These absorbent pillows are manufactured from meltblown polypropylene and colour-coded pink for quick identification. Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquids. They also have a fast wicking action which helps clean up spills more quickly.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. Absorbent pillows can absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquid by encapsulating liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
