Use oil absorbent pads to clean up spills of oil, fuel, diesel, petrol and hydrocarbons. They're available in a variety of styles and pack sizes, making them ideal for cleaning up oil spills or wiping down equipment after use.
Oil and fuel absorbents are colour-coded white for quick identification. They're hydrophobic, meaning they repel water and this makes them suitable for hydrocarbon spills in wet environments such as lakes, rivers, sumps, ponds and drains, or in wet weather.

- Oil and fuel pads are ideal for maintenance workshops, vehicle repair shops, fuel depots, handling facilities, petrol stations and transport depots
- They're also great for bilge and floor mop up on vessels
- Polypropylene pads are highly absorbent for hydrocarbons

Notes:
Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. Oil and fuel absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Pads can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
