General Purpose Spill Kits - Portable Bags

Portable general purpose spill kits are kept on hand to help clean up everyday spills of coolant, solvent, oil, degreaser, paint, blood and mild acids – most non-aggressive liquids. Portable spill kits are ideal for a truck/ute cab or for smaller workplace spills.

Also known as universal or all-purpose spill kits, these spill kits include a range of poly absorbents. Colour coded grey these absorbents have a low weight to high absorbency ratio - they are clean, non-allergenic, non-hazardous and leave little dust.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. General purpose absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
