Oil and Fuel Spill Kit - 240L Wheelie Bin - Premium

Oil and fuel spill kits provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for cleaning up oil, fuel, diesel, petrol, solvents, and hydrocarbons. These kits are perfect for areas where industrial hydrocarbon liquids are stored, handled, or spilled. They come in a weatherproof wheelie bin, color-coded yellow for easy identification during a spill emergency.

The poly absorbents included in these spill kits are color-coded white for quick recognition. Hydrophobic in nature, they repel water, making them ideal for hydrocarbon spills in wet environments such as lakes, rivers, sumps, ponds, drains, or during wet weather.

Premium spill kits feature a larger amount of poly absorbents suitable for larger jobs. They also include Global Peat granular absorbent. Global peat is an organic absorbent which is able to absorb fuel, oil and other hydrocarbons whilst repelling water. That makes these premium spill kits suitable for outdoor use or, for use in a marine environment.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. Oil and fuel absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
