Outdoor flammable storage cabinets are designed to safely store Class 3 flammable liquids, in outdoor environments. These cabinets are manufactured in Australia to meet the requirements of AS1940-2017 – The storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids.
Outdoor flammable storage cabinets are critical for the safe storage and handling of Class 3 flammable liquids on the worksite. Outdoor DG stores (Dangerous Goods stores) have an in-built containment sump which will collect and contain any flammable liquids such as petrol, paints, adhesives, lacquers or varnishes. They also include an externally-accessible drain to easily decant sump.
Outdoor flammable cabinets are weatherproof and suitable for outdoor environments, meaning they will stand up to harsh Australian conditions. They are manufactured from heavy duty, zinc anneal steel and have a durable, two coat protective finish for outdoor use.

What's a Class 3 – flammable liquid?
As referred from AS1940-2017, flammable liquids are:
Liquids, mixtures of liquids or liquids containing solids in solution or suspension (e.g. paints, varnishes, lacquers etc. but not including substances otherwise classified on account of their dangerous characteristics) which give off a flammable vapour at temperatures of not more than 60.5 degrees Celsius (closed cup test) or not more than 65.5 degrees Celsius (open cup test), normally referred to as the flash point.
