These corrosive safety cabinets are suitable for storing Class 8 substances such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, and sulfuric acid and other corrosive substances.

• Adjustable shelving and a base shelf - corrosive substances are stored above the sump
• Class 8 corrosive safety cabinets feature vent ports and flashback arrestors on each side to allow fumes to escape and stop flames and flashback into the cabinet 
• Blue powder coated finish (UV-stabilised) for durability
• Self-closing door(s) mean cabinet can't be left open or ajar
• Doors - stainless steel continuous hinge for strength and smooth operation
• Flush mounted handle with key lock
• Built-in grounding connector for easy grounding (if required)

What's a Class 8 corrosive substance?

As referred from AS3780-2023, corrosive substances are:

Substances that, by chemical action, will cause severe damage when in contact with living tissue, or in the case of leakage, will materially damage, or even destroy, other goods or the means of transport; they may also cause other hazards. Such substances are listed as Class 8 corrosive substances in the ADG Code or meet the classification criteria specified in that Code for corrosive substances.
