Chemical Absorbent Pads

Use chemical / hazchem absorbent pads to clean up spills, drips and leaks of most acids, bases, coolants, paints, solvents, oils and hazardous chemicals.

Pads are ideal to keep on hand wherever chemicals are stored, handled and spilled. 

These absorbent pads are manufactured from meltblown polypropylene and colour-coded pink for quick identification. Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquids. They also have a rapid wicking action which helps clean up spills more quickly.

Poly chemical absorbents are inert and dust-free which means they won't degrade or chemically react with the liquids they absorb.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. Absorbent pads can absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquid by encapsulating liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
