Flammable liquid safety cabinets are designed for the safe and secure storage of Class 3 flammable liquids in the workplace. The double wall construction with a 40mm barrier offers ultimate fire containment and protection to safeguard against the dangers of combustible liquids. 

The 170L flammable safety cabinets are suitable for safely storing Class 3 flammable liquids such as petrol, paints, varnishes, lacquers, adhesives and other combustible liquids. 

170L Flammable liquid safety cabinet are available in a wide range of sizes to suit different applications depending on the amount of flammable liquid that is needed to be stored.

• Adjustable shelving and a base shelf - flammable liquids are stored above the sump
• Flammable storage cabinet   feature vent ports and flashback arrestors on each side to allow fumes to escape and stop flames and flashback into the cabinet 
• Yellow powder coated finish (UV-stabilised) for durability
• Self-closing door(s) mean cabinet can't be left open or ajar
• Door - stainless steel continuous hinge for strength and smooth operation
• Flush mounted handle with key lock
• Built-in grounding connector for easy grounding (if required)

What's a Class 3 – flammable liquid? 

As defined by the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, flammable liquids are:

Liquids, mixtures of liquids or liquids containing solids in solution or suspension (e.g. paints, varnishes, lacquers etc. but not including substances otherwise classified on account of their dangerous characteristics) which give off a flammable vapour at temperatures of not more than 60.5 degrees Celsius (closed cup test) or not more than 65.5 degrees Celsius (open cup test), normally referred to as the flash point.
