General Purpose Spill Kit - 120L Wheelie Bin

120L General purpose spill kits are designed to absorb and clean up spills of most everyday spills including coolant, solvent, oil, degreaser, paint, blood and mild acids – most non-aggressive liquids. They are ideal for areas where industrial liquids are stored, handled or spilled.

General purpose spill kits includes Budgetsorb, a blend of coir peat which has a high absorbency to weight ratio capable of effectively absorbing virtually all liquids. This is designed to be spread and brushed over a larger spill area. 

Our general purpose spill kits also include a range of poly absorbents which have a low weight to high absorbency ratio. These poly absorbents are colour coded grey to signify they are suitable for virtually all non aggressive liquids. 

Poly absorbents found in our wheelie bin spill kits include booms, for surrounding the spill area to control the spread and packs of absorbent pads. 

Spill kit instructions are included in each kit.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. General purpose absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
