General Purpose Spill Kit - 240L Wheelie Bin

General purpose spill kits are designed to absorb spills of everyday liquids like coolant, solvent, oil, paint, and mild acids. Ideal for areas where industrial liquids are stored or spilled, these kits include Budgetsorb, a high-absorbency coir peat blend, and poly absorbents color-coded grey for non-aggressive liquids.

The kits also contain booms for controlling spill spread and absorbent pads. Spill kit instructions are included.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. General purpose absorbents are made from polypropylene (which has a high absorbent capacity). Poly absorbents can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
