General Purpose Absorbent Pads

Use general purpose pads to absorb most non-aggressive liquids including coolant, solvents, degreaser, paint, blood, mild chemicals and hydrocarbons such as oil, fuel, diesel and petrol.

These pads are also known as universal or all-liquid absorbents.

General purpose poly pads are colour-coded grey for quick identification. 

Use general purpose absorbent pads for maintenance clean ups in workshops, schools, factories or warehouses - any areas where spills may occur.

Actual absorbent capacity will vary depending on the liquid viscosity, specific gravity and temperature of the spill. General purpose absorbents are made from surface-modified polypropylene (high absorbent capacity). Pads can absorb up to 20x their own weight in liquid by encapsulating the liquid within the polypropylene’s fine fibres.
